Our class is pen pals with our Trucker Buddy, Carl Carlson. He drives
a truck for Transport America. He drives all over the United States.
He sends us postcards and letters from different states. Then we locate them on a U.S. map. We have learned about geography, state capitals, and how to write a letter. We have written large group letters, made cards and have drawn pictures for our trucker buddy. We hope that Carl will visit us in the spring and bring his truck. It sure would be fun to meet him and see what his truck looks like.
