We are at that time of the year when the hard work students have been doing is paying off! Students are showing good progress in math and reading and writing. Soon you will be getting notice of your conference day and time. Please watch for you conference time and plan to attend. If there is a conflict with the assigned time, contact the teacher.
Students have been shown how to practice math and reading skills using the MAP scores. So if you have access to a computer, let your child show you how to get to an activity to practice and improve their skills.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
MCA Night on March 9, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:15 for 3rd through 5th grade. Come and learn about the MCA (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment) which will be given in April. You will get some free materials and information about the test when you come to school on March 9.
Monday, March 15 Third graders will be going to Valley Branch Nature Center. This is a great day of learning outdoors. They will be gone from 9:30 to about 2:30.
